e-learning
MSP's e-learning courses are designed to provide a first introduction to various topics related to peace processes, negotiations, and mediation. E-learning is most useful when followed by a face-to-face course, where issues raised in the e-learning may be dealt with more thoroughly.
You may log into the following courses using the username "peacemediation" and password "msp2010" (if you would like to use other courses than the two listed below, please register according to these instructions):
- Interest Based Negotiations: An introduction to four negotiation principles for successful negotiations and the importance of empathy.
- Interpersonal Mediation: An introduction to mediation approaches, phases and techniques.
Forthcoming:- Peace Processes: phases, third party roles and dynamics during a peace process
- Security in Peace Processes: the importance of security arrangements during peace processes (cessation of hostilities, ceasefires, etc.)
The courses are hosted by the Partnership for Peace Program and were implemented by the International Relations and Security Network (ISN) at ETH Zurich. |
